2015/04/04 Dresden Skyline
Dresden is in my opinion one of the most beautiful cities in Germany. With the river "Elbe" passing by the nostalgic and majestic buildings Dresden has a phantasmagorical skyline despite being a rather medium-sized city.
In the background you can see many different historic buildings. One of the most obvious: the women's church ("Frauenkirche"). This baroque building has been destroyed during World War 2 and collapsed on February 15th 1945. The church has been rebuilt mostly with donated money from all over the world. There are many more buildings with an agitating history visible on the picture.
